Yeah, in 5 years the IBM/Apple/Sony box will be out, along with something
competive from the MPC type people. The SECOND (or 3rd, etc) generation
will be the successful one. I hope I'll still be in business!
Kevin: as for VR system, I think you'll see them about that time too.
Of course the Mandalla system will be out for the CDTV box <real soon now>
Thats a cheap (<$300) video capture/effects gizmo that puts you on the
screen to interact with graphics, etc. Its kind of fun to play with,
especially nice to choose menu items by reaching in space!
