#Access!
Bill,
Actually, U.S. Snail arrives whenever the weather permits this time of year
through to about March or so. Ice fog, white-out conditions, etc. prevent
the airplanes from landing. So… in the old days (imagine your
grandfather talking here) dog teams would deliver mail among the villages
here on the North Slope. As a matter of fact, a good friend of mine uses
one of the old mail-stops as a hunting cabin now. It's located 80 miles
out on the Tundra and is in an absolutely breathtaking location.
Looking at the thread, I see we are supposed to be talking about Access!,
so I guess I'll mention that my Access! 1.42 is really working out well and
I'm sold on the B+ dl protocol.
BTW, the doctors are aware of my delusions… but, they still let me play
with the chainsaw. :>
