Barry While I have many criticisms of PageStream, I could never say that the software is non-functional. I use it (v2.1) frequently to produce all sorts of things … from the core artwork for record sleeves (which I then import into Professional Page), to posters. DTP isn't my profession … but I sure do a great deal. The problems you describe sound as though they are related to your own set up, or what you are trying to do with PageStream. For instance, are you trying to do too much with your available memory? PS does require quite a lot, especially when you a doing complex (multi-font) documents. Are you using PD fonts? Some do cause PS to have problems (partly due to PS problems, partly due to bugs in the fonts which PS does not handle very well). Perhaps, if we work through this carefully, we can find out what the problem is. Mmm … I never thought I'd see the day I was defending PageStream 🙂 Mike (Whapping from the UK)
