Good reply Donovan. I agree, help him get going, if he's even willing to try. But I also think he has a good point. Why is it crashing at all? Even if he should have his Stack set higher, or different Assigns, or needs to reinstall his Fonts, or .EQV files, or whatever….. if the program has a problem, it should just tell him what's wrong, and gracefully exit. NOT CraSH. It's good that Barry has folks here on CIS to help him get going. I wonder how many other folks out there are bitching in private cause PgS is crashing, or better yet, returning the program or bitching about their computer always crashing? After all, their Mac friends never have these problems. (or aren't perceived to, anyway) I agree that PgS is not out to steal anyone's money. I think Barry must have some real installation or configuration problems. But PgS hasn't helped anything by having it's program crash when things aren't exactly right. By the way, I'm not picking on PgS. They are no better/worse than many other Amiga/Mac/IBM programs. Maybe that's the problem. Complicated software that demands complicated setup and such. OK, help us set it up, but DON'T CRASH. I'll shut up 🙂 –jp–seattle–
