Barry, I've taken J.R.'s Pagestream 2.1 files and have color separated them to film on a hi-res phototypesetter, using my A2000 which has 10MB (2MB chip ram, 4MB 32bit ram & 4MB of 16bit) of ram and an '030 – '882. I've seen the final prints of these color seps and they look excellent. They did take over 30+ minutes each to print, but hey, J.R. is a heavy graphics man. Pgstream works fine for me, I'd like to see improvements too, but that is always expected of everything. If you don't have a postscript printer, I'd recommend downloading Post1.6 from here. It will interpret Postscript ASCII files, and it does a nice job for me, printing to a non-postscript 300dpi GCC Personal Laser Printer. Of course you'll need to begin collecting the postscript fonts, many of them found here in the libraries. I wish you better luck, and please, post your system configuration. But just from one of your comments about memory dropping I'd guess its time you seriously considered a megamemory upgrade. Chris
