Lorenz; Sometimes the risk is worth taking. I usually will go with my 'gut feeling' and take a chance on someone. I have probably been 'burned' less than a dozen times so far and probably have not lost more that a couple of $K (out the outside est). OTOH many of the risks turned out to be more valuable beyond my wildest dreams… because I was willing to risk. I suppose that it is much like trust in general. Is it better not to trust and thus never be disappointed? Just one trust that validates itself can mean more than many disappointments. -bill/ARS KB7LX
