Don: /_______________________From your message________________________\\ I currently have a 16 bit Soundblaster with a SCSI II port and the DSP chip. I haven't done anything with it except use it for CD-ROM audio. __________________________________________________________________ I have the same card but I added the Turtle Beach Maui to it to give me wavetable synthesis and the stored midi samples. I would have gone with the Monterey but the Soundblaster/Maui setup gives me soundblaster compatibility which made it as flexible as could be. Bob
