#Razor Pro questions
More problems with Razor Pro!
I'm having problems with any 16bit WAV's. When I double-click on one in the
library, it plays fine in the player, but when I double-click on the same WAV
in the comp window, it plays back like very loud static. I have changed my PCM
driver to priority 1 in my sound mapper control panel but it didn't help. When
I try to make a preview or a "final" AVI with 16 bit audio, I either get
static, no sound, or no video or sound. I received a MMTASK error on my last
attempt and everything from RAZOR to the PROGMAN crashed.
I was wondering if threre was any way to make cutomized audio output settings.
There needs to be a way to independantly select sampling rate, 8/16 bit and
mono/stereo. The two options that come up are just not enough. The library
also needs to state what the settings of a sound file are.
How can I select a specific area of the Comp window for my final output (like
the preview area select)? This is a very basic and needed feature. Surely I
don't have to create a new project for every single output file!
Oh, I almost forgot, why can't I seem to be able to access ANI's on my PAR
slave drive? I have to be able to do this because I use the master for
animations and the slave for video capture. This is very frustrating!
I hope there is a solution to most of these problems. I have been using this
program for less than 24 hours and I feel I have run into more than my share of
difficulties. I decided to purchase the more expensive RP instead of waiting
for Premiere 4.0 (supposed to support PAR) because everyone kept telling me RP
was better. I have yet to see it. I think those people may have been
comparing it to Premiere 1 for Windows. Version 4 on the Mac is pretty close
to a flawless product.
Getting more frustrated by the hour
