Amiga in Time
I recall, many years ago when I was chairman of the UK Commodore Users
Group (ICPUG), I had a phone call about Arthur C Clarke. It was from
either his brother or son (I can't recall precisely) who was looking for a
powerful machine for Clarke to do Word Processing on. He'd heard of the
Amiga but didn't know know if it would do the job, and had spoken with
Commodore here in the UK, but they were of little help
After a long discussion, he was convinced … and I then put him in touch
with the right person in Commodore UK. I believe that they gave him an
A1000 which they shipped out to Shri Lanka.
It's good to know that he's still using Commodore technology!
