#cdrom cache
CD Speedway has been mentioned frequently here, although I haven't tried
it. Microsoft's SMARTDRV seems ineffectual at caching a CD-Rom. There's a
new product called SPEEDCACHE+ that's supposed to be excellent with
CD-Rom's as well as regular hard drives. I've ordered a copy to try it out;
stay tuned, will report what I find out when I get it. Also Super PC-Kwik
is reported to do a good job with CD-Roms.
