So you didn't even see the text print to the screen ? It sounds like
it's not finding the script… just to recap, to run a script once you get
connected, there must be a '$' as the _first_ character in the comment
field (above the first '-' mark in the display) followed immediately by the
name of the script file to be run (if you don't specify the full path, then
it will look for the script in the _current_ "System Dir:" (can be found on
the Define window). You must also have the 'Do-Script' gadget selected in
the phone-book.
You might try the following… put the file in ram: and call it
'logon.scp' then, in the phone book, it should look like this…
BBS Name 1-(234)-555-1212 2400 F8N1 $ram:logon.scp
|–System Name—|–Phone Number—|-Baud|-Set|—–Script/Comment——|
…replacing, of course, the BBS Name and phone-number etc. with the
number you are trying to dial.
