d "&" g,
HUNH? Hit yer CAPS LOCK key so I can hear you!
<<What's road noise?>>
That's what I hear when I'm driving my van with the radio off.
<<But while I must agree that the majority of the music lyrics are cr*p you
will find many pearls among the noise that have deep sentiments and maybe teach
you something.>>
I feel the NEED to continue beating the snot outta this topic. Please bear with
me, and pay close attention this time.
I don't think the majority of the music lyrics are cr*p. What I said (wrote)
was, "But I never listen to crap. I always turn that off." In case you might've
missed it, (I've referred to it a few times recently), references to crap is
_ALWAYS_ misspelled and mispronounced. Crap is a form of expression that is
usually characterized by a redundant and tiresome beat, the sound of someone
spitting and blowing into a mic stuck to their lips, some assorted accompanying
instruments usually played badly, and all sorts of unintelligible syllables
shouted in loose rhythm by small groups people wearing real big clothes and
posturing in quite bizarre ways. No one pronounces our writes the first
character, the letter "C", of the "music" form to which this type of expression
has become associated. It's always silent or invisible for whatever reason, so
instead of being called "crap" it is called "rap," and instead of finding a
section in music stores labeled "Crap," the labels all read "Rap." Maybe I'll
take my campaign to the music stores. Or maybe I'll call 60 minutes. For sure
though, there ain't no "pearls among the noise that have deep sentiments and
maybe teach you something" lyrics in _that_ stuff! Ohhhhhhh, did that come out
sounding a bit opinionated? I better watch what I say. I wouldn't want to
offend any aspiring CRAP stars.
…B ":)". (…gotta remember to use plenty of them emoticons…)
