The Q-code has a provision for mode 1, mode2 and mode 3 q-codes. The CD
can have a number and each track can have a number. Most discs don't have
either code, and when mode 2 is present, it is most often zero'ed out. So,
a number is obtained for program use by looking at the TOC which has a
start track #, ending track number, lead-out time and the start time of
each track in min, sec and frame, and the type of info in each track, data
or audio. This is different enough to make it unlikely for two cds to have
the same info unless they are rom data with one track. Sometimes the data
for two different pressings of the same disc is different, but it is not
like for the same user to have two discs of the same title. (like->likely).
This works weill enough.
