Tim,
The IrisVision boards have drivers for accelerating AutoCAD, but
don't do anything for 3D Studio. Your rendering time is all on the cpu,
then pixels get drawn on the rendering display, at whatever resolution
you're in. The people to beat up are Silicon Graphics, who stopped selling
the board some time ago.
