Greg,
I don't have a 4000 (I'm broke from upgrading my 2000) bu I have worked
on the 4000 at my local dealer. Try selecting a screen mode that is
specifically marked NO FLICKER. This will enable the flicker free
software and improve your display. The 4000 does not have the flicker
fixer in hardware, these screen modes (NTSC HIGH RES NO FLICKER) do it
through software.
