Ani loads slowly

There has recently been a small exchange here on the Asoft forum about the
problem some of us have experienced in AniPro loading very slowly. Do any of
the Adesk support staff have any idea what causes the problem and/or what we
might do to correct it?
I don't have my config or autoexec files with me tonight at home, but the
problem is the following: when trying to enter Ani.exe it takes a long time for
the program to come up…about 2.5 mins. on my Gateway 486-66 EISA with a SCSI
500 Mb Hd and 32 Megs of RAM.
I'm using anipro to playback long (20mb) animations from 3DS in RAM. I notice
a large temp file in PAAT. Is it possible that I'm just waiting for the temp
file to load? Can I delete this temp file from my HD?
