Frank, excuse me for jumping in here. Could you give me more info on the
Grolier's 5.0 multimedia version? I write about CD-ROM and am supposed to
know about these things but getting info about Grolier's up here in Canada
isn't easy.
Also my personal edition of the encyclopedia was an OEM bundled with a
Magnavox so I've seen nothing of upgrade notices etc.
However I do know the difference between generic multimedia, MPC and MPG
etc. However any info you can give me on the disc you are describing would
be of assistance — for instance I assume you are talking about a newer
version with limited animation and not simply the text/graphics/audio
version of old.
I really would appreciate any assistance as I'm going to have to
button-hole the company at COMDEX and would like to be able to ask
reasonable questions (for a change <G>).
