#CD to WAV
Dave,
The simplest way to sample the CD is to use the Windows tools provided on
the SBPro disks.
1) Start up windows.
2) Run "MEDIA PLAYER" and select "CD AUDIO" from the Device menu.
3) Run "SOUND RECORDER".
4) Run "SBPRO MIXER" and make sure the ADC input is set to CD.
5) To record a passage, click record in SOUND RECORDER and then PLAY on the
MEDIA PLAYER. Press STOP on the RECORDER when done. You can then use the
edit features in RECORDER to remove any unwanted time from the sample.
6) Simply save the .WAV file and its ready for use in Windows.
