#share CD on Mac net
Hello All. I'm wondering, if I have a CD-ROM drive hooked up to my system 7
quadra, can I share it with the network ? I know you can't share floppies,
and I just do n't have a CD-ROM drive arounf to test with. Actually the
bigger picture is to make CD-ROM's accessible to the entire net, like the
NetModem products from Shiva. The perfect scenario would be for somethi ng
to beep me and infor me there is a request to "mount" a particular CD-ROM.
Essentially a CD-ROM server of sorts, maybe with a few CD-ROMs mounted for
use by users, with more CD-ROMs available for mounting. -Chris Dircks
