Floppy drive #
I cannot seem to change one particular internal floppy drive from df1: to
df0:. This is nothing new for me…I've done it to other drives. This
particular drive is a Matsushitu (Panasonic) model JU-363-282. It has two
rows of 9 pins each on the bottom of the drive. Jumpers seem to be able to
short across rows OR on same row. There are no instructions. Printing on
the circuit board seems to indicate the proper jumper position. When I did
this, the drive seemed to act pro C
the drive seemed to act properly, except it would not boot. The screen
asking for a disk asking for a disk insertion disappeared as it normaw3lly
would after a disk is inserted, but it comes right back asking for a boot
disk. And yes, the disk originally inserted was a boot disk. Is there
possibly another jumper to change in addition to the device number? Any
help woul be greatly appreciated. 225-7401 any time. {/exit >i{
