}} I had someone recommend using Digiview to grab from a projected slide, or }} a slide viewer. Since it is a camera grabbing the image, the resolution }} can be adjusted (with the zoom) to exactly match your needs… haven't }} tried it. I have tried it, using DigiView and the Panasonic B & W camera. I purchased a small (5" by 6") portable light box for a few bucks and can focus right on the slide (using the mechanical focus screw, once can get the lens to focus very close). The occasional underexposed slide would come out dark, and I've managed to get good images by projecting the slide onto a screen and placing the video camera just above and behind the projector. Works quite well, and costs a lot less than $15,000!!
