I believe I've got the latest SONY driver but haven't checked recently
since I expect the new Trantor 16k driver Real Soon Now (I ordered it Oct
1). This is the new driver, commissioned by SONY, that makes the drive
multimedia compliant. (It gives the SONY a 64k buffer and better
throughput…I hope).
Norton implied that this is a known bug that was not hardware specific.
Actually they didn't imply it, they said it!
