The SteadyCam Power Cord (I'm trying to come up with a different name, possibly "Freedom Cord") is basically a cord that will plug into a standard battery belt pack and attaches to the SteadyCam JR handle with velcro straps and utilizes very thin wires (which allows good SteadyCam control) to continue the power line from the top of the handle, under the SteadyCam JR stage, to the battery connector. For my current cord, I was unable to find a dealer that sold a connector to the battery terminals without an expensive cord attached to it. So I removed the battery cells from the casing of a defective battery and connected the cord to it's terminals.(Thereby making a connector from a bad battery). Since I can't expect others to go popping open daed battery packs to connect the cord, my alternative is to either find a supplier for these connectors (perhaps you would have a suggestion), or design an adapter to easily convert one of their existing batteries to attach the cord. Access to the connectors would probably be less problematic though. I would like to send you a picture or someting, if you can provide me with appropriate info, this would probably make a good addition to your feature. Rick
