A600HD tools – help
Hope someone out there'll put me right …. I've recently purchased the
Amiga 600HD and workbench etc has loaded on the hard disk. All seems to be
working except for the following which I think is lack of knowledge on my
part : If I set tool types in, for example, the SAY facility (eg -f -n
-p200) and save these tool setting by clicking on the relevant save icon,
the setting have no impact on the actual say facility – ie it seems as if
they have not been saved to disk although the tool types remain as shown.
This also holds true if I try and set the 'F' keys to hold a text string.
It appears as if although the tools type is saved, it is not being actioned
when the relevant icon is selected. It may or may not be relevant but the
system also has a 1Meg expansion with on board clock and the 'last update'
field is not updated by this clock when I update or chaneg an icon's tools.
The clock does however work perfectly. I must be doing something wrong but
don't know what ….. any ideas ?
