Betty, Saw your chat with Andrew Apold about Excellence! One word of warning with Excellence! Betty….It might not affect you but it has a funny way of defining the margins around your page. For example, on my Citizen GSX-140 24 pin colour printer I have the restriction of not being able to print within 0.25 inches from the top of page and about the same for the bottom of the page. Currently to get a 1 inch margin at top and bottom of page I have to set my top margin to 0.61 inches and my bottom margin at 1 inch…but then I have to set my page size to .40 inches shorter than what it should be. The moral of the story is that this is a very fiddly method of setting something that should be relatively easy. ProWrite 3.2 for example is as simple as entering 1 inch and you GET 1 INCH. ProWrite and Flow by New Horizons are both excellent programs. Only thing I wish ProWrite had was auto index and table of contents. New Horizons keep saying they'll post rudimentary arexx scripts for this but I simply refuse to learn AREXX and I want a proper function for these features. I absolutely hate AREXX, I can't and won't program and feel that developers are taking the easy way out when it comes to making the user (who might not want to spend ages learning AREXX) finish the program off to a level where it will do what they want. Anyway Betty that is my opinion anyway. Also you will get nicer output from ProWrite in high quality mode than you will with Excellence! (Bitmap and Compugraphic fonts) Regards, Andy.
