Thanks for the info. I'm really a novice, amateur video buff and would like to learn more, at least before going into debt for more sophisticated equipment. I am at ground zero now with VHS editing set-up (Panasonic twin decks and controller, awaiting Opal VideoProcessor). Incidentally, I was born and raised in Stamford, and spent some of the better hours of the summers of my youth in Candlewood Lake. Hank
