The 3DS user interface is much more similar to AutoCAD's than to AAP's. The
process of doing 3D animation is much more structured than 2D animation —
hence a different interface. List price is still $3K.
By "all of your frames digitized", I mean that 3DS can't deal with live
analog video. You must digitize the video frames first if you want to work
with them in the post-production environment.
