Well, I really wanted to get the Supra. I looked all over Tucson and in some
major stores in Pheonix and everyone was out. I settled on the new full V.34
version of the Sportster. I am pleased so far, but so far I have not tried to
connect to anyone with 28.8.
BTW, the Sportster does no support V.terbo. It does support V.34, V.FC,
V.32bis, V.32, V.22bis, Bell212A/V.22, V.23, V.25 and Bell 103/V.21. It
supports what I believe is all the data compression schemes out there, V.42/MNP
2-4 and V.42bis/MNP 5. On the fax side V.17, V.29 and V.27ter.
