Thanks. I've allways felt that the original premise of CD-I "A single media standard" was a good goal. I believe had CD-I been released in '88 (as originally planned), that it would have had a clean shot at that standard. Of course the showing of DV-I at the CD-ROM conference in '87 compelled CD-I to go for full-motion video, hence the delays. Now we will have to let various formats duke it out in the marketplace for the next 3 or 4 years. One thing I've learned from my videogame experence at Activision, the winner will NOT be based solely on technical advantages. There's a whole lot more to a successful platform. William Volk
