I just saw it as yet another of those offers that make me wish I lived
elsewhere! The usual ones that I've spotted are from Microsoft, but
they're not alone in having strange rules. Perhaps I should have a go at
Microsoft now…maybe they will say the same thing as you!
Now that we've settled our differences, I wonder if you produce a CD-ROM
catalogue? If so, how can I get hold of a copy…I'm new to the world of
CD's and haven't found too many stockists yet. So I'm looking for any
sources of CD's to see what's available.
It's unfortunate that CD's haven't caught on in a massive way in the UK
yet. There are quite a few dealers selling the drives, but very few selling
the CD's themselves. Those that are selling them usually charge twice the
dollar value in pounds, eg your price is $20, UK price is 40 pounds! So it
looks like it's far cheaper for me to import and pay tax/duty than to buy
(from limited choice) in the UK.
