Hi Ismail I'll keep my eyes open for other companies who adopt 'non-continental' upgrade policies. I suppose if enough people complain about the problem the companies concerned will think about sorting the problem out. I think the real problem is that the 'big' companies aren't out to sell to small buyers like me. Smaller companies recognise the need to sell to anyone, because they need all the sales they can get. A company like Microsoft couldn't care less about one sale of a compiler to me…they're after 500 or 1000 compiler sales to big software developers. The big software development companies don't care whether a compiler is $50 or $500, it's loose change to them. To me, it's the difference between buying or not buying! What people like Microsoft don't appreciate is that I DO have spending power at work…so if they upset me as a small (home) buyer, I'll be less likely to buy from them at work 🙂 Chris
