The Toshiba 3301B has a built-in SCSI-2 interface controller. However,
be aware that if the drive supports SCSI-2 and the SCSI controller in your
PC does not, then the point is moot. Also, some of the SCSI-2 command set
is implimented by software. Understand that SCSI-2 is a proposed standard
which has not yet been accepted. While many devices claim SCSI-2
compatibility, many other factors are involved for them to use the new
standard.
