#Installing TEXEL T128

Ed, I just did exactly what you are about to do. The T128 goes in very easily since it doesn't use jumpers to control it – it sort of sits in your system in isolation, ignoring IRQ's and the like. I assume you have the Texel DM-3024 internal high-speed unit. Whichever, be sure you use the software which comes with the kit, even the MSCDEX.EXE file. I tried using a later version of MSCDEX and my system hung. I'm having trouble now with getting my SBPro to recognize the Texel audio output. Perhaps I have a bad drive, or the SBPro needs something changed that's not in the book. Can't seem to find out. If yours works, please let me know what you did! Good luck!
