In reading your message, I thought you meant discs. If you mean drives,
you need a SCSI drive and the trantor Mac drivers. Contact them for what
they support. I run a Hitachi SCSI drive, CDR3650 or CDR1750s drive on my
LC. If you mean discs, some customers run MS-DOS text discs on a mac using
the MS-DOS emulation programs – very slowly I understand. I have a MSDOS
computer just to run dos aps, and can attach the same drive to either
machine if needed. The Mac can read files from the disc when its 9660,
graphics files I run through apple file exchange and photoshop to convert
them to pict formats. Text files can be pulled into word for reading. Most
of the best ms-dos stuff is hardware specific, and needs SVGA and sound
cards, etc. Bettter to obtain the Mac version or get a 1200$ msdos cpu to
run them. Cheers!
