We sure have wrung the towel pretty well on MIPS. I had heard of a story of application programmers in some governmental agency, some years ago, who would specifically include "dummy loops" to add delays to a programs' execution just so they could then reduce or remove those loops later and make themselves look good to "management" (think what THAT would do to system performance measurements!), but I think you Basic wiz beats them hands down 🙂 Real World:southern Illinois,USA Internet:ca0008 at siucvmb.siu.edu
