PMJI, and I may have missed something, but if you're talking about trying to pass off an object from one hierarchy to another, with r3's Keyframer Snapshot and Hide-Key abilities, that bit's a snap. Gary was demonstrating it at SIGGRAPH (it's one of the tutorials, I believe). Regardless of whether the cup is linked to a dummy or to the man, you could (using the r3 paradigm) just have two cups, one for each man, and hide-key switch the two at pass-off time. That, at least might make keying easier. (Natch, you'll have to wait a couple weeks for r3….) Or maybe I just don't know what I'm talking about!<g> Dave
