#1950 with A4000
I use a 1950 monitor with my A4000. Since getting the 4000 I have had an
interference pattern on the monitor- lines running up and down the screen. I
recently spoke to someone about this and he told me the problem was caused by
the increased bandwidth of the AGA chipset, and that that little silver adapter
box that is used to plug the monitor's VGA style cable into the A4000's video
port generates the interference pattern. He also said that by grounding one of
the pins in the silver adapter would eliminate this.
THE PROBLEM is he didn't know which one it was. He said that it's posted
somewhere on the Internet. But I don't have access to the internet. DOES
ANYBODY know how to do this fix or have an internet account who can find this
out? The 1950 is in the shop right now (that's why I happened to be talking
about it) but when I get it back I'm also hoping to get rid of that annoying
interference.
Thanks to anyone who can help me with this.
