Considering that the Screamer is still vaporware, its hard to use it
as a reason to buy LW rather than 3D studio. Doest the 10,000
"mentioned" price include expensive ram ? If it connects to the Amiga
thru Ethernet, do we get a free ethernet board for the amiga ? If you
have a 4000, do you have a slot free for the ethernet board ? 🙂
3D studio is dongle based, but have wisely disconnected the rendering
from needing it, allowing network farms to aid rendering speed.The
new 3.0 version renders in 64 bits, w/ 16 bit alpha, ray tracing
option, and the very impressive IPAS routines.
But i'm not giving up my Lightwave just yet 🙂 kevin
