Listen you guys, I also have strong views about all sorts of political, social, and philosophical issues. But I refrain from bringing them up on this ASOFT forum because I have plenty of other places and forums where I can more appropriately do so. I enjoy this forum for information on 3DS and all the related hardware stuff and I also enjoy the occasional interesting digressions. I often like to engage in debate on various issues but I try not to dump my opinions on other people unless they have expressed an interest in debating (or just plain arguing.) I've also learned that it often times better not to know too much about the people you work with; you may like and respect them until the day you have that "deep" discussion and learn to your horror and disgust that the bastard is actually a Democrat! (Okay, or a Republican.) Or anti-this or pro-that. And all this time you thought he/she was an OK guy/gal. I don't think it is either fair or proper to bring up emotionally charged issues like gun control on the ASOFT forum — not just because its not a 3DS related topic but because I now find myself continually having to restrain myself from responding to some particularly ignorant comments on issues which I happen to know a lot about. Martin, you started this gun control stuff and you have — in the past — repeatedly made your feelings about guns well known. If you want to debate this issue (or abortion, drugs, religion, etc) there are several other forums here on CIS where you can complain freely about whatever bothers you. But you really shouldn't do it here, in my opinion.
