See if anyone has a suggestion. I have a squiggly path that I using to loft a rectangle to form OBJ1. I am using the same path as the path for an object (OBJ2) in keyframer so that it travels along the surface of OBJ1. I am applying an opacity map (.FLC) to OBJ1 so that OBJ1 disappears as OBJ2 moves along it. The problem I am having is syncronizing the rate at which OBJ1 disappears with the rate OBJ2 moves along it. At least in the first set of frames, OBJ2 leads the opacity map. Also, segments of OBJ1 tend to "fade out" (go semitransparent over a frame or 2), rather than being there one frame, and gone the next. Total time OBJ2 requires to go from one end of OBJ1 to the other is 210 frames. The opacity flic is also 210 frames, starting all white and scrolling black up from the bottom over the 210 frames. Lofting is done with automagic mapping applied, length 1, normallized. Standard defaults for antialiasing and blur.
