No offense taken, but I will still insist that everyone be active on the ETS forum. If that can be done via Internet, that's great, but my understanding is that Internet messages can only be posted to Compuserve's Mail forum. I will never discourage you from continuing your quick (and free) communications channel via Internet. On the other hand, though, I think everyone needs to be checking in on the ETS forum so that they may monitor, discuss, react, argue, etc. with the other SMurfETS about J2 topics. In my letter I was trying to point out how frustrating the silence on these topics has been over the past 6 months. The actual numbers – 14 messages that ANYTHING to do with this new product. Each beta release brought with it many more changes than that and all of these "begged for discussion" by our group. It is imperative that everyone read and respond firsthand so that we can all benefit from their expertise and input. Section 14, ETS, is a RESTRICTED forum set up specifically for this purpose. All discussions on pre-release software SHOULD be taking place there. In addition, ALL of the ETSs will benefit from the other CIS forums and discussions they choose to take part in (or listen in on). In their roles, they must be experts on J2, but certainly well-aware of new (and old) information on other products as well.
