(Previous sent letter, the software name used was incorrect. Model
mover 1.5 is the software that I'm using to make a .works file for
MacroMedia 3D software not macro model.) I'm having diffculty in
saving large .dxf (2mb – 4mb or lager)files in model mover 1.5 into a
.works files. I draw my 3-d models on a IBM using Autocad R12, copy
them to my removable hard drive, mount the dos removable onto my mac
using access pc. Thru apple file exchange I translate the pc.dxf
file into a mac format. Open file in model mover 1.5 (opens fine)
then go to save as a .works file and it fails after a few minutes. I
have 26 mb allocated to model mover 1.5. What is going wrong. For
the recored and the heck of it i was successful in opening the file
and render it in Infini-D.
Also i would like to know how model mover 1.5 handles Autocad features
like recognizing layers, blocked or grouped objects and line colors.
I think macromind 3d does neither.
