"And it took the competition that NT poses…" Do you really think so? (I'm assuming you're talking about the Motif win). I didn't read it that way at all. I saw it as the normal shakeup you'd see with a number of different windowing standards trying to get market share. The winner being Motif. (Which I don't mind, since I really like Motif programming!) If you weren't talking about Motif, I'd be interested in what you meant by that. I've been working in the UNIX OS development biz for quite a while, and I've never heard anyone even bring up NT in any context relating to the business. That's probably because we don't do PC unix stuff, though.
