I'm working on a piece of software that will continuosly scan the digitizer and convert the data into notes. Sort of a "hummifier" if you know what I mean. Actually, if the digitizer doesn't look for anything special (ie sampling rate, etc.) that needs to be sent to it, then a general open-and-read the parallel port would be fine. Unfortunately, I've only had experience with using the RastDump routines and that about covers my knowledge of the ports.
