DP <<been using Amiga Basic on an A2000 with a GVP 030/33 accelerator for years and haven't run into any problems>> Unless your using an altered version of AmigaBASIC, there will be problems with AmigaBASIC on 32-bit Amigas. AmigaBASIC isn't 32-bit pure, it is only 24-bit pure (it ported from a 24-bit Mac BASIC). AmigaBASIC used the "unused" 8-bits for holding pointers. Forcing AmigaBASIC to load only itself into CHIP memory, can bypass the problems caused by loading AmigaBASIC into 32-bit memory areas. However, I'm not sure if this works with Amigas with AGA, since their CHIP RAM is 32-bit. – Ron. (People who say cats always land on their feet… just don't know how to throw them right.)
