Ben, Thanks for the tip. I'll check them out, Toshiba's are known to be good laptops! Though the last time I looked at them, a small item annoyed me – the location of the CNTRL & ALT keys on the keyboard were reversed. To a touch-typist as myself, I rarely look at the keyboard – and I would make a number of mistakes. The other notebook that I like is the NEC one. Modular design, which allows for upgrading almost every component. Though, I do like the IBM one the best.. as it does have full multimedia capability with its docking bay. Decisions, decisions… (took me 3-years to decide on the car I wanted).
