I think that WP had a problem from the beginning. They chose to port an osolete version from the beginning, infested with bugs, and were never terribly motivated to do anything but bug fixes from the very beginning. It is a shame that the companies that have produced word processors have never felt the competitive need to produce a product a versatile as word processors on the PC platform. I think that C= should have tried to motivate a small company to bring a comparable product for the Amiga, rather than bribe WP to kludge up an obsolete quirky version of WordPerfect, just so they could say that it was available for the Amiga (a bid to "legitimize" the Amiga way back at it's launch).
