Gee… I hate saying ANYTHING nice about Apple! The sad truth is that Apple is actively porting their OS to ever CPU they can find (Intel, PowerPC), while C= is pondering RISC some day in the future! Apple has dreams of being another Microsoft, growning fat selling CDROMs filled with their software at rediculous profits. Unique technology can be very fleeting. C= sat on their custom chips while the rest of the industry make more and more techical advances! Remember that the original IBM PC had no custom chips – it was put together rather quickly from stuff off the shelf, and I understand the companies involved in that product made a nice profit <g>! Custom chips are nice, and great specs are nice – but it programs that make the darn thing work! <Maybe C= should bundle a compiler with every computer>
