"How do you really test this??"
It can be as simple as copying a large file from RAM: to the main dir of
the HD. I used the DPaint program (which is 400K) and that takes about 11
sec. to copy (about 10 sec. too long).
"Have you upgraded your mother board?"
No, I haven't had the chance.
