"Once you are finished tinkerering and adding and start to get productive with it I think you will see some of the many benefits it has to offer" Maybe. The first problem is maintaining my interest in a machine that makes a simple task like installing an IDE drive difficult. My days of getting a kick from pioneering with bug-ridden, oddball machines are long gone. My time has to be devoted to business first, pleasure second. The Amiga is a "toy" for me in that I don't use it to earn a living. Therefore, my patience with it is definitely limited. The reality is that if I didn't want to use the Video Toaster and associated programs, at this point I wouldn't go within a mile of an Amiga.
